Abby's 9 Month Ampuversary & Last Day to Vote!

Hi all – technically, Abby's 9 mo. ampuversary isn't until tomorrow, but I figured I would post it a day early so that I could hit you all up one more time to vote for her for the Dog Days of Summer contest that our local paper is having. Today, the 28th, is the last day to vote until midnight PST.

If you click HERE you can vote for her – it's free and no reg. and only takes a sec, so hit that Save Vote button a time or two (or twenty…) for our girl. [Note that the vote totals aren't showing up on her page anymore, but you can see them if you want by clicking "view gallery" in the upper left corner and searching on "tripawd". You can also vote from that results page that comes up showing the vote totals, but it is a two-step process from there - have to hit the little vote button under her name, and then hit Save Vote.]

Will let you all know how she does. I think she is in 6th place at the moment (not bad out of 1000 dogs!). I don't know how many dogs are going to make it into the paper, but hopefully she'll make it because we've had Abby's Army voting for her!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman.
