Hi everyone,

 

Just bit of an update on Ami who recently turned 8 as well. It has been 1 year and 8 months now from amputation and fingers cross everything has been good. Bit of arthritis on the remaining from leg and she could probably benefit from some weight loss :)

I'll post a picture of her tomorrow when she's awake.

One year and 8 months is wonderful!  Will be looking for the picture of Ami.

Debra & Angel Emily

Debra & Emily, a five year old doberman mix, who was diagnosed with an osteosaecoma. She had a right rear leg amputation on May 19, 2009. On November 10, 2009 she earned her wings and regained her fourth leg.

Ami that is wonderful! Many, many congrats!

For a Dane girl to live nearly two years with osteosarcoma is AMAZING. You and Nova  need to get together and have a pawty!

After 9 months, Ruthie lost her battle on June 13, 2010. My heart is broken…I miss you so much my dear sweet girl.

Happy 1 Year and 8 Month Ampuversary and Happy Birthday too!  So pawesome that Ami is doing so well and beating this cancer.  (I just love Great Danes – I grew up with them and 2 of my sisters currently have Great Danes in their family. ) Congratulations on Ami – she really is an inspawration to all of our tripawd heroes! smile

Kami (Mackenzie's Mom)

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!

Angel Jake and Wolfie's Mom

Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie.
