OfflineWhat Jerry said. Sounds like a great all around experience. That is all we can ask for. Hoping for you the post chemo experience will be non-eventful as well.

OfflineHi all,
Well, here we are on Sunday evening and the chemo was Friday…We've had little discharges, leakages of diarhea, shall we say, but then her actual poops which are nice and solid (which Kona seems to producing a few a day…quite the factory) and feeling yucky that first 12hrs, I'd say, and then just ehhh, you know…….she's doing better everyday. the lil diarhea minis seem to have disappeared (yea!) and her appetite's been good….thus the good and plenty poops.
She was hot that first night……all the nasty chems in her…….destroying anything bad and taking no prisoners…
We're looking forward to Monday evening when kisses are allowed and the kids can once again drink water from the same bowl.
I will keep you all updated.
Many thanks yet again for the support/love.

OfflineGreat news Kona Kai! (except the leaky stuff
)
I don't have a cancer pup, I'm just here for the fellowship! (and the free cash drawings on Friday nights!
)
But I just wanted to send my best to your crew and to Kona!

OfflineThanks Comets Mom !
Yes, poor Kona's been mortified by the leakage…it seems to have faded away for the most part.
We keep telling her that she's a good girl and it's ok, Mommys understand.

OfflineWell done, Kona. What's a little leakage among loved ones anyways?
Hope she continues to do well. Definitely kisses time I think.

OfflineGood to hear that Kona is making it through her first round of chemo without too many side effects… Well, except for the poopy leakage (Yucky). Definitely no kisses… especially if someone has been licking their butt!!!
I always ask my doggies before I kiss their face… have you been licking your butt lately? Well of course they never answer me… and I kiss them anyways!

OfflineHi all,
Yea !!!
KISSES !!!
What a long 72hrs.
Kona's seems sort of low energy today, but geez, it's tough going through all of this.
I think it's because there's been more activitiy in the house and she hasn't caught as many naps as she could use.
Better tonight.
One day at a time .
One chemo down and two to go….hey, a third of the way through it !
more soon,
You guys are the best!
Your support really helps me through my days.
thank you,
Denise

OfflineOh Tana, I'm so sorry to hear about Sophie.
I hope that she will get strong in treatment and be home soon.
I can really relate to you losing it at the vet's office. Been there, done that.
I have my strong-ish moments, and then………………
you know.
I'm holding good thoughts and prayers for your Sophie.
hugs,
Denise
