Smokey - 25 month ampuversary, but we've hit a roadblock

I just wanted to offer my support to a very difficult situation.  Your Smokey is such an inspiration and you must be so proud of him.  Incredible – 25 months.   Your vet sounds wonderful – to take the time to write you in such detail about all of your options – such compassion that she has for you and Smokey.  The fact that Smokey is comfortable and eating well is very encouraging news.  But I'm so sorry you are going through this.  Please know that whatever decision you end up making will be the right decision for you. We are thinking of you.

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!
