Today, I heard the four most beautiful words…..NO EVIDENCE OF CANCER.

Shelby's chest radiographs were clear and a FNA of a bump on her elbow revealed it to be a cyst.  She is a happy, svelte 53 pound bundle of energy in a beautiful golden retriever suit….full of life and going for the brass ring in everything she does.

I know how blessed I am…..I have lost all of my goldens and labs except for one to various forms of cancer.  They were and are all rescues and right now, I am on cloud nine.  My gooberhead girl is okay!

I have been absent from here for way too long, but want to come back more often to support all of you who supported me.  I am so saddened to learn of the passing of so many familiar dogs…..when I lost my oldest golden girl in June, I told her to look for all of Shelby's Tripawd friends.

Thank you for helping us on this continuing journey……………..we are over the moon with relief and gratitude.

We will do our best and we'll continue to fight to honor all of those that were lost to cancer too soon.  I promise :)

Thanks everyone!  And Cathy, I would love to share pictures of Shelby………however, I am not computer savvy in the least and not quite sure how to do so.  Are there instructions on the forum to imbed them in a posting?

If you don't already share photos online anywhere you can start a blog and upload them to your Media Library to copy the image file link (URL).
