DITTO AMY....AND DITTO YOUR INTUITION about how helpful it will be to get Schlomo outside kn the grass and in Nature.

You're using the cart to help him get to the destination. You're not using it in lieu of walking at all...just to get him outside to the Park.

You've done your research so you know what phantom pain is....the sudden yelp and trying to run away from the pain...And then it stops...u til the next time.

Is it possible any of what you're observing is more related ro him dashing out and running the length of four houses? Just throwing it out there.

Can't wait to see pics of Schlomo in his Royal Chariot!! 🙂

Hugs!

Amy & Sally, that is what I think too! It's in lieu of a car basically and I think it so important for him to get a change of scenery.

Sally, re:pain. He has these episodes of just laying down and nothing happening and then him yelping all of a sudden. Similar with either getting up or laying down now. Did Happy Hannah have any of that? I started another post about meds too.

Thank you!

Happy Hannah was lucky in that she never dealt with phantom limb pain...many have though.

Sounds like phantom...HOWEVER, just to muddy the water a little bit....hmmm....if it appears more specifically when he gets up or lays down, wondering if it's related to muscle soreness, stiffness, etc. Heck, could even be pulling some stitches during those movements. The Gaba should hel

That's what's so crazy about recovery. So many things have similar "symptons."

It does eventually all become more "normal; And the ups and downs of recovery go away. Really!! 🙂 PROMISE! 🙂
