I'm so sorry for your loss of your Mountie.  But he is out of this terrible pain of cancer now.

Thinking of you and your family in your loss..

 Melissa…..I'm so sorry.

You gave Mountie (love that name) the ultimate gift…..peace and release from pain.  I remember when my blind golden girl, Gracie, told me she was ready.  She hadn't been able to get up on her own for a couple of days, and as we went to lift her to carry her to the car, she stood and walked.  I wanted to turn around and walk right back into my house…I nearly did.  But then I realized that Gracie was giving me a gift………….a beautiful memory of her walking into the light.

Godspeed, Mountie.

Thank you for having the strength to free Mountie from his pain. It is one of the hardest, but most loving, decisions we have to make. RIP Mountie.
Cancer sucks.
Sending hugs and tears.
