We are one week post op.  Woody had his right rear leg amputated last week.  He is doing pretty well.  He is not eating great but will eat his favorite treats.  We are going to vet tomorrow for a follow up.  We got the Ruffwear harness and it is great! I am so glad we got it.  Good luck and hang in there!  Let us know how it goes.

All I can say is, 'Awwww….' – nothing like a best friend!!

We're so glad you found Tripawds. You'll make lots of friends and get a lot of support here. I hope the appointment today brings good news. Please keep us posted.

I third that – Goldens do rule!! (but we'll keep it between us goldens) Welcome Woody and family.  So sorry that you have to go through this but just know that Woody will be ok and before you know it, you'll have your boy back full of life and energy.  Our golden Mackenzie will be celebrating her 1 year ampuversary very soon and we've never looked back.  Amputation was the best decision we could have ever made.  We wish you the best with everything. Please let us know how Woody is doing – we'd love to see more pictures too.  BTW – Woody's avatar is quite adorable!!
