She's SO pretty!!! I love dogs with tall ears and blonds! 🙂

YAY for a poop.... it takes a bit for some ... but glad she is doing so well. She's a cutie for sure.

Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Yaay!  Glad she got that out of her system.  Bet she's way more comfortable.  Kudo's to you for figuring out and "fixing" what Senna thought was wrong (the shirt).  She sure is a beauty!  Love hearing about her pawgress!

Senna went into the vet yesterday for a quick check in and they were nice enough to rewrap the compression and make it more seasonal!

Oh happy day!!! YAY FOR POOP AND PEE!!

Senna is a very stylish tripawd! I lpve that you figured out her "fashio s" were interfering with her potty routine! A breat bit of insight for others during the recovery time.

Keep on rockin' Senna!

Senna has been getting back to herself!  She's been wagging her tail every time she goes outside, trotting around will plenty of speed.  Only small problem is she won't eat her food out of her bowl, so we now put her food on a tray and she takes her time and wonders a round a little.

LOVE to see the sparkle come back!

Have you tried raising Senna's food dishes?  Sometimes the front amps have trouble balancing to reach their bowls.

My little pug Maggie was a rear amp.  I tried raising her food dishes so she could keep her balance better right after her amp.  The first time I put her food there she looked at me like I had set down a bowl full of rocks! So I put it back on the floor and she was happy with that...oh well.

Yeah we tried that. Sadly she had a couple episodes of phantom pains when she was eating, so I think she associates her bowls with that.  She drinks water out of the raised bowls no problem. We just set her food on the flour and she ends up eating it.

There's our hoppy girl! So nice to see her again, we can't get enough!

Putting her food into Kongs and other toys like that is a great way to get her to eat and keep her mind busy too.

Well Senna had her two week check up.  Vet took out all but two or three stitches and the bandage, the top of the incision wasn't completely healed yet.  She continues to return to her old self as her confidence continues to grow.  We had her out this morning and she started hunting for the squirrels in the yard!  That's something we haven't seen in a month or so.  She still has some issues with eating from her bowl, so we're just settling on putting it on the tray the bowls sit on and she goes to town.  I added a photo of her hunting for a squirrel and a photo without the bandage and you can see the incision, will place it a bit further down in case anyone doesn't want to see it?

Glad to hear she is doing so well!  I think her incision looks pretty good.

Run squirrels!! Run!!! Senna is back!!! YAAAAAAAAAY FOR SENNA!!clap

Senna is just beautiful, absolutely beautiful! And her incision looks good!!

It was probably about the five week mark that my Happy Hannah started engaging in some of her normal routines with gusto! It's such a delightful feeling to see them do things they used to enjoy.

Thanks for the great update and wonderful pictures! Keep 'em coming!

Hugs to all!
