Jeddediah lost his leg around a year ago to  a bad break. he has really been an inspiration for me.  He has become an amazing hunter and has gotten me many birds this year.  he has really come into his own and showing Darby up which not many dogs are able to do. Here are a few pictures from this years hunting seasons.

Great pics. He is a handsome boy and looks very proud with his pheasant!

Hope he continues to do well,
Jackie, Abby's mom

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. That is simply awesome!  Great pictures of Jed doing what he loves to do and giving those four legged ones a run for their money!

We went out this last weekend and got into some Quail, my personal favorite. Jed made us laugh so hard we almost couldn't shoot.  A bird was down but not ouit and Jed and Junior were searching for it.  My friend starts yelling it's under him!! It's under him!! The Quail had run into some cover and Junior had pushed it out to Jed and the bird was standing right under his chest, he finally saw it and made a retrieve that many 4 legged dogs would have trouble with. We then had a few more that he retrieved beating all the other dogs to and bringing almost all of them back. My Nephew and friend that was all they could talk about was how amazing he is. They never thought they would be struggling to keep up with a tripawd. LOL

I love to see working dogs doing what makes them happy. Jed is a happy dog because he feels useful, which is all anyone wants. And I absolutely am in love with his beard.

I agree, when a dog has a job for his pack, there's nothing better in this world. Go Jed!

It's better to hop on three legs than to limp on four.™
