This was just before she poopicon_png!!  She also loves being outside so was prolonging the potty time with some sniffs!

Has anyone experienced nose bleeds?  My gut tells me it’s from Benadryl and prednisone, the tumor is gone now so she is really seeing side effects from those two meds.  This morning when I got up there was a small spit up of blood with a clot in her pen, took her to vets and  our oncologist checked her blood as well as a full physical she is completely healthy and no issues with bloodwork she thinks that it’s something she may have just coughed up. Gave me Chinese herbs for clotting just in case. No blood in urine or stool.  Tonight there were a couple drips from one of her nostrils on tile floor but dried up quick.   She is doing so well and happy and hopping around on her own also eating peeing drinking and playing this is no fun!  Ugh????!!!!!

On a positive note the tumor and the lymph node that was sent off to be studied has partial results so far grading the MCT as a High 1 low 2 and the lymph node had tiny mast cells in it that prove that amp was a good choice or it would’ve spread to her whole body. More complete results 8/28.

I searched the forums for nose bleeds but didn’t see anything crying

Hmmmm.....no idea on the nose drips.  But Benedry  definitely  dries  out sinuses, so that may be the culprit.  Just  a very dry, irritated  nosr.

Yeah, the index number  is very encouraging.   Snd yea, you definitely  made the right decision.! Marlee is going so well to be this early out.

I wonder if it is a result of the anesthesia protocol?

The high 1/low 2 is pretty good.  Be sure you get the mitotic index value.  When dealing with MCTs graded as a 2 it can be helpful determining how aggressive the cancer is and help determine treatments.

Here is a Forum Post with a Link to Dr. Dressler's Discussion on Mitotic Index.

It's great to hear that Marlee is doing well!

They also mentioned it could be a side effect presenting now from her last stitch chemo treatment like 3 weeks ago.  I have Dr Dresslers book so I’ll study up before her next appointment about the mitotic index.   We also have our first grooming appointment coming up in September that we are all looking forward to because boy do I have a stinky girl.  She was unable to get a grooming for a while because her paw was so bad!  Our groomer also said we have a few Tripawds in our area that are regulars heart Now I just need my girl to have a full recovery from these med side effects!
