Hi Robin, thanks for posting, please consider registering as a member so your posts won't need approval each time.
It's so weird you joined us. This Dachshund Baxter just joined us too and we haven't had any Doxies is a long time!

Why is your pup losing his leg? What's his name? Do share your story so we can help. Thanks a bunch. Hugs to you both.

Well, when we say you are not alone, you know we mean it! We now have TWO Doxiie's going through this!

It is definitely a scary time so please stay connected tonus. We understand like no others can.

The first week or two of recovery can be pretty rough. But once recovery takes place your buddy will be just fine!

If you have hardwood floors, you'll want to get non-skid scatter rugs so your little guy can have traction .

When you can, please tellnus more about your situation. And remember, you are n ot alone!

Hugs!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
