Comet is a corgi/lab mix that was born with a front deformed leg that doesn't function. She is a rescue dog from a 'hoarder' home. All 22 dogs were confiscated and most did not survive. She was just a 4 month old puppy when we got her and she was only $10 at the shelter! . On January 23, 1999 I found and kissed Comet for the first time. On January 23, 2011, I lost Comet and kissed her for the last time

Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.
