These pictures are preciius, absolutely precious treasures!!

Cannot believe the mileage these two can cover some days! And I love that they enjoy snuggling or sitting in the sun just as much as walking.

And yes, our love for them has to be strong enough andto pure enough to do eeverything we can to make their "last" day in their earth clothes, one as free from suffering as possible.

In the meantime, we continue to live in the moment with no worries about the tomorrows. The tomorrows will take care of themselves. Right now, just continue to make everyday for Booger and Autumn the best day ever...just like you have every single day for thousands and thousands of days!!!

Looking forward to more pictures and hearing about ways you are spoiling them even more than the day before!! And don't forget to take some pictures with you in them!

Bet Booger and Autumn would love a slice of cheese pizza topped off with a scoop of ice cream!!

Lots of hugs!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Hello, Kind Tripawds forum members,

I'm popping back again to let you all know that we lost both of our elderly ladies in the past couple of months--Booger on Feb 11th, and Autumn on Jan 6th. They were 17.5 years old, and active and content until their last few days, during which they peacefully got groggier and groggier until we knew it was time. They both passed away peacefully with our long-term vets. Surprisingly, it was not Booger's cancerous leg that made our final decision... she had sudden precipitous kidney failure, right after her leg had finally healed from its sixth (!!) time having the tumor removed!

I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to all of your for your kindness and warmth when we were dealing with her health issues. It seems like a lot of you are long-term members of this community, and you welcomed a stranger to your midst who ran into the room shouting about her little elderly lady and demanding answers. 🙂 I was really torn-up when thinking about Booger's tumor management, and you all helped, immensely.

Thank you.

So sorry to hear of your losses, but take comfort that these two ladies lived wonderful long lives.  What more could a dog ask for than to be part of a warm and loving family?

Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016.  Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016.  Lung mets August 25, 2016.  Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016.   Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.

Wherever they are, they are together.

I'm so sorry! Oh my gosh you lost these sweeties so close together, that had to have been, and still is, ruff. My heart goes out to you and the pack. I'm glad we could be there for you when you needed help and perspective. That was our honor.

Thanks for the links to your blog, I loved seeing the photos of the girls.

They had such an amazing life. To think they were born just a few months after our Jerry was. Wow. What a blessing to have them in your pack for so long. I know it doesn't make the loss any easier, but just, wow. Wonder dogs forever.

I know it brings you comfort knowing Booger and Autumn are snuggling together on a soft couch at the Rainbow Bridge. They are todgether watching over yiru and Starbuck.

Yet your grief over losing both of these sweet girls so close together has to be so painful. I'm sorry, so very sorry.

The pictures Jerry posted are the perfect reminder of how happy these two were with you every single moment they were here in their earth clothes. And yes, these two, as well as all.of your dogs, could not have had a happier life!!! 🙂 Yiur dogs are the luckiest dogs on the planet! Booger and Atumn hung around for over seventeen years because they were having so much fun!

I did look at your blog link and got insight into how well loved Booger and Autumn (and all your dogs) were every si gle day! Seeing them enjoying frolicking in the snow or sleeping on the couch...all joy, pure joy! 🙂

Thank you so much for sharing your delightful family with us! They truly live magical lives with you!

And we look forward to seeing who else Autumn and Booger will send you!

Lots of love and hugs
