Allow ample notification time for your chat, considering some members may check the forums weekly. Then at your specified time, others may show up to chat. We'll definitely try to be there.
After your chat, post a follow up in your topic to let everyone know how it went. More may want to join you next time!
Consider hosting regular scheduled chats and just update your topic each time. Or, create a topic of specific discussion that members could update it each time they wish to host a live chat session.
