Raven's incision itches, when I touch it he makes his funny smile face.

And, the full story is on his blog at raven.tripawds.com  But, here he is reunited with his bobcat buddy here at Wild About Cats for the first time since surgery 3-1/2 weeks ago.  He doesn't seem as much interested in playing as in sniffing around.

Rottie Raven, osteosarcoma at 8-1/2 years old, amputation in October '09 and in February '10 due to liver mets he went back to heaven where he came from.  raven.tripawds.com

Now I have Miles, rottie mix amputee from a shelter and traveled 1500 miles to find his way here through the Rescue Railroad thanks to tripawds.com.  miles.tripawds.com

I loved the videos of Raven!!! Jake and Wolfie also make that funny grin when they are/were scratched in just the right way! The bobcat was adorable!! He really seemed to like Raven... but Raven seemed uninterested... just wanting to sniff around at all the cool smells.Laugh Animals are so funny... They just do their own thing... Who knows what they're really thinking!

Raven is looking really good for just 3.5 weeks post-op. Hope he continues to do well for a long, long time!!!

Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!

I smiled and then laughed.  My wife asked, "what was that?"  I showed her the clip.  She smiled and then laughed.  Boy do we need such things like this.

Thanks and keep us posted regarding Saturday's Trip.

This brought a smile to my face too! But I might suggest you start a new topic in the Share Your Story froum where you can keep adding Raven's movies, instead of adding new topics here in Hopping Around. Thanks!

Jake's Mom:  Raven and Billy do play normally!  I think it was just that he hadn't been in that pasture for a while and had so much sniffing to do...  Here's some pics of him with four legs.  Raven is the epitomy of Running With Reckless Abandon.  🙂

What a lucky puppy to get to play with real live BOBCATS!!!!!!  Jack is jealous that Raven gets to live so dangerously.  The most dangerous thing we've done this week is go buy a raincoat.  Love the video and pics!

For anyone interested in meeting up with Dawn and Raven tomorrow (Sunday), I'll be posting the place on the "Any RV'ers up for camping..." thread (http://tripawds.....r-napa-ca/) later this evening when she lets me know where she's going to be.

Raven's smile is infectious :).   I can't believe how well the incision site looks.  What a lucky guy to be able to play with a big cat....course I don't think a cat that size is gonna let any dog be anything but well-behaved around him.

Oh! I want to scratch Raven to make that smile! How cool!

I'm so sorry we missed this chance meeting! I've been terribly busy and backed up with work and life and life and work that I have gotten FAR behind on my blogs and forum watching. I hope to be better at watching and maybe get the chance to meet you another time!
