Hi Mindy, welcome back.

I'm sorry about your dad, losing a parent is really tough.

It sounds like Takeo will really benefit from the appointment.  He is still only a couple months out from surgery.  I adopted Elly about 2.5 months post surgery and while she was healed up from the surgery she was not at all strong.  It took a couple months of training to get her strong so she wasn't sitting down all the time.

So veey, very sorry to hear your Dad has crossed over. You certainly have had your hands full the past month or so. I sincerely hope things are starting to settle down with you.

So glad you are going to get Takeo jnto the Rehab Specialist. I think you'll ba amazed at the results. They won't be instantaneous and it will take some daily commitment on your part, but it will be worth it! It's alsompossible maybe there's a pi ched nerve, or strained muscle, etc that is causing some of the "hunched back" hopping.

If I can find the video you'll see another dog here had some leg weakness and a bit of "hunching" also. Novak is his name and the Rehabilitation made a HUGE difference!!! It still happens some when he makes fast turns or fast stops, but that is somewhat espected with rear leggers.

Novak's Mom also ppsted a video showing a lot of the "exercises" she was doing at home with him...very informative.

Take care of yourself! We look forward to hearing how the appointment goes!

Hugs!
