Update. We are on a program. Lol. Shushu is on two ten minute walks off site ( meaning we drive somewhere else) ...quite a far cry from where I erroneously started her (Egads! Running! A mile! And when walking- way too long and way too far.  BIG OOPS!!).

Awwww, don’t worry too much about your ‘oops’ moment, we all have them!!! This is why it is so great that we get to write about them and others might learn before they make a mistake!

I love that they ask you to go ‘off site’ in order to give ShuShu her excitement in a day and something different to look forward to! Great advice from your Rehab Therapist!!

So, I wanted to post for learning purposes. With one ten minute walk under our belt and our exercises I can already tell this is the right move for her now given her multiple body aches and issues posted elsewhere. Yay for educated help!!!

And Yay for you wanting to educate people along the way too! Keep it up, not just for our selfish reasons of wanting to know how ShuShu is doing, but also because others will benefit! Thank you!

Thank to the Stu pride and family!

So much love and encouragement!! And yes I am very much excited about educating people with her. I just had a very young non pet owning someone see how “well she gets around” and say “ oh I could do this” and I was like, “whoa whoa whoa Nellie” Lol.....In a nice way of course and described all that is involved in proper care and all that she needs.

I love running into other pet owners with dogs with challenges and met someone yesterday with a Pekingese on wheels. Nice new community to be part of!

Off site was genius and I added a little extra frosting by turning it into social time for her morning walk by going to stores that allow her there because she doesn’t stop for the ten minutes while we do the aisles and lives and loves to socialize. The nighttime walk is more peaceful.

heartheartheart

Awww what a great life ShuShu is having, she is so fortunate to have a parent like you! I love that you are coming up with creative ways to get her exercised physically and mentally. Lucky, lucky dawg.
