Meg has a small hard lump on her rear left leg. They did a biopsy today. I'm sure it's nothing. I'm close to certain it's nothing. The results are due the day I fly to the states, so I bleeping well hope it's nothing.

Ruby, Staffy, born June 2022, became a Tripawd, 23 November 2023, adopted 12 January 2024.

Also Angel Tripawd Meg (aka The Megastar), who died in April 2023, aged 14, after seven glorious years on three, and Angel Staffies Pie and Bille. In the pawprints of giants...

It is nothing. I am positive it is nothing. Meg has a lump and it is nothing.... Say it with me and we will all believe.

I am so sorry Clare ... I know this is horrible to deal with and right before you travel ... I cannot even imagine what you must be feeling. But I am sure it is nothing. Meg is a rock-star and perhaps it is a cyst or something.

I do recall  Shelby had a lump (a black one) on her ear. It was also hard. They took it and part of her ear off. It was nothing. Nothing at all.

So I am sure this is the case here too.

Hugs and love!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Breathe deep.  I understand lumps & bumps.  I have had several with Snickers in the past couple of months and one with Bosch.  All turned out to be nothing.  I will keep you in my prayers.

Thanks everyone, as ever, for your support. You people are just the best.

I really do feel confident it's nothing to worry about. I think it's probably a follicular cyst. That or an ingrown BLOOMER HAIR, in which case ✂️ Every cloud, as they say... I'm certainly not in a lather about it. It's just that niggle, that what if... and the fact that it's so hard.

I might not even have mentioned it, except for the fact it could impact on my coming. But let's not even go there. That is NOT going to happen. Meg does have quite extraordinary timing. Her various crises always occur at the most inconvenient possible moment. When she fractured her elbow it was the Queen's Diamond Jubilee weekend (a special four day bank holiday, the first in about a hundred years), and we couldn't even get to her vet as all the streets were closed for street parties. I've got a dog going into shock on the passenger seat and people are dancing round the car in crowns and silly hats. Another time, I was supposed to be going to France for the weekend and leaving the girls with a friend. I parked outside her house, got out, and Meg immediately pressed the central locking, locking herself and Elsie and my car keys inside the car. I had to call the AA in the end to come and pick the lock, while Meg sat and watched through the window. So, I'm just saying, she's got form...

I am sure it is nothing ..... but I hear ya on the timing. Shelby once consumed an entire package of red vines and was pooping and vomiting all at the same time - during Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Couldn't get to the doggy ER (our first of many trips through the years). It was our 2nd crisis (the first was the first time she ate an entire box of Frango chocolates). Anyways ... trying to haul ass to the ER through beads and carnival revelers is something I will never forget.

Obviously Shelby was fine and went on to do many other things to raise my heart rate over the years ... but she did get a saline patch and made her look like a camel!

Oh the things they do! Love you Meg!!!! You do like the attention! XOXO

It's nothing. Ditto. It's nothing. I know it, darn it.

Good for you for being so observant. You got it checked out, and that's what counts. Is there any way to speed up the lab results? That's a long time to wait.

Wyatt had a lump once, and it was an impacted hair follicle! We joke that it was an $800 zit.

No she does not. At least until the vet acknowledges it. Meg has a beauty mole. Why you, Clare,  could not acknowledge this at first is beyond Elsie Pie's and Da Bear HQ's realm of understanding and, obviously, Ruby Roo. What you have found is A BEAUTY MOLE...as in Sophia Loren.....geesh...And is it a week until results are back? That does seem lengthy...Meg, pull yourself together and ignore all else. Whatever that lump is...you do not care. And please stop worrying your mum. Carry on, Meg, carry on! This is what your mum gets for travelling without you:) It is always something...

Of course you have a niggle its a unknown beauty mole I love that ❣️
If we were not on this site then the niggle would not weigh as much!
As for lumps timing ,Well there is no good timing to find a lump, just glad you found it and are having it checked out!

If for any reason you cannot make the party, you know everyone will most certainly understand, disappointed and worried they will be, but understand that we all do!!

You can still write a story either way and you have a story to write on meeting Miss Cow and Teresa! We all cannot wait to read more about the magical moment!

One day at a time right now and we all will be saying many many prayers for B9S !

Glad you made it home safely ! I’m sure the girls are glad your home!
Give them both extra treats and cuddles from us!

IT'S A CYST!!!! IT'S A CYST!!!! IT'S A CYST!!!! IT'S A CYST!!!!

Clearly, when they told me results next Wednesday, they hadn't factored in that we are dealing with a MEGASTAR and, as everyone surely knows, Megastars cannot be expected to wait for results. It's an epidermoid cyst, aka NOTHING AT ALL. They said they can remove it if I want, but why would I? It isn't bothering her.

Meg celebrated in her customary fashion. Thanks, everyone, for your support. Beauty mole! laughing laughing laughing
