Clare ,

Are you giving the CBD 2 x a day?

What about the Assisi Loop? You could use it on both girls? It says it is for helpful Osteoarthritis ?

No idea just thought I would share. Its not cheap of course. What is these days.

Anyway link below if you want to check it out.

Rene, has the Oaktown pack reported back on how it's working for arthritis?

Thanks SO much for this, Holly. And for finding a U.K. supplier. Hugely appreciated. You are fabulous. I will speak to my rehab vet as you need a prescription apparently. I would think it would surely be worth a go. Thank you.

Much love. I hope you realise what a treasure you are. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

It came across my RSS feed for cats;) The same day I saw your post.
I do hope it helps and really it would be cheaper to just buy it once you get a script.
Sure hope it helps let us know. I actually have been trying to win one lol

I did find out about the Assisi Loop from Rene’s article awhile ago the one she posted above so thank Rene;)

I have followed the loop since.
I forget about that link when I posted sorry Rene.

I would love to hear updates on this for the obvious reason that is lying under my desk at the moment. I also tried to get info on the farabloc blanket thingy and wrote them an email regarding shipment to Germany (or retailers) but never got a reply so they're off my list. So if anyone's actually trying the loop at the moment I would love to hear about it!

thanks

Soooo, we tried the Assisi Loop on our 4 legger, Smokey B, who has severe arthritis in his elbow. We applied the loop as directed, 2-3- times a day, for a total of about 6 weeks. Suggested protocol is 2-3X/day for 4 weeks and then you can reduce usage, we extended protocol to 6 weeks at reco from Assisi loop rep who called to see how it was going at around 4 weeks in--she said that chronic pain can take longer to respond to treatment. Even after 6 weeks it had no effect on his limping whatsoever. That said, we have tried many things to alleviate his limp--stem cell therapy, laser therapy, every nsaid known to dawg, and acupuncture. Nothing has worked. The last orthopedist we went to suggested that perhaps Smokey's limp was more mechanical than a pain response but it is pretty difficult to suss out the difference.

Some dogs seem to respond well to the loop but as far as our pack the jury is still out!

xoxo,

Well drats! I was so hoping it would help Mr. Smokey. When you find something that does help be sure to tell us about it.

Thank you for the update.
