Hello everyone, I have been absorbing all your suggestions and am thinking of trying the power mushrooms. What has been anybodys experience with them, both results and side effects . Gus just started prednisone and antacid, and in researching your suggestions I want to make sure anything I do is compatable with each other, so I know I might need to drop the prednisone if I do use the mushrooms, and thats ok with me. I will be talking to the vet on tuesday to see about the metronomic therapy and Palladia possibilities also, and will inquire about mixing any meds I use before I do. Thanks for all your advice and support, and let's remember what this holiday is for, Paws up, Gus and Dan

The mushrooms are very safe and should not interact with prednisone or any other drugs (even chemo).

It's interesting because I noticed a big boost in Mackenzie's energy level as soon as she started taking them. My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
