Sobbing like a baby, knowing this post was coming.

And I got to Marley's boy's comment and was able to smile through the hard tears. His connection with Marley has not stopped and he's clearly tuned into how well Marley is already feelingheart

I'm so glad Marley had a peaceful send off...at her home...in her yard...surrounded by Nature and the humans who she loved so dearly.....truly the most selfless gift of love you coud give her.

Take your time moving things, keeping thing, not moving things, not keeping things. Many of us here will tell you to delay that type of thing for awhile.

Yes, you'll be okay...but not for awhile. Not for a long while. The sadness and the void will seem like an eternity. Eventually the happy memories will come shinging through. They WILL push the grief further into the background and your broken heart will br glued back together again with her love and her joy! PROMISE!

Thank for for writing tonight. I know it was hard. You described her transition with such love and adoration for sweet Marley. We know there are no words to comfort you....yet you have comforted us by sharing how flawless her transition was. Marley was at complete peace knowing you were there right by her side.

I love that the birds were there to sing to you as they celebrated Marley back home.

And the breeze you felt.....that was Marley's Spirit energy wagging her tail happily as she was being released from her earth clothes and being carried gently to the Bridge on the Wings of her Angels. She got so excited and rambunctious as she got closer to the Bridge because she was feeling so well, I wouldn't be surprised if you find a feather from their wings at some point!

Marley touched us all. The stories you told on her blog clearly showed us all that this sweet girl KNEW her purpose and did not waste one second fulfulling it!! We are all sooooo privileged to be part of her earth journey. We know there are many more stories AND photos to be shared and, when you can we can't wait to hear more.

Surrounding you with the gentle breeze of Marley's eternally wagging tail heart

Sally and My Chunky Spiritual Being Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie

PS.....Remember to look for her bright Star shining watching over you from above

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

I'm so sorry but I also am glad you have the peace (even as you have the grief) of being able to stop her pain and set her free on your terms...no painful end or suffering for sweet Marley.  That is the transition she earned and deserved, and you were (and are still) her best friend, fiercest advocate, and soulmate, right there with her and for her until she left her physical body.

Like so many here with their pups, a good part of your life, your routine, has revolved around Marley and her care.  In the beginning, it's hard to know quite what to do now.  But a heart as big as yours will find other souls to save, and although they will never fill her void, you surely honor her with each one you help.

We're wishing you peace.  It's such a horrible, indescribable agony - I know, I really do.  But please know you have friends who are here for you! And we are grateful we got to know her.
