I got the pleasure of meeting Sadie's mom, Lisa before doing her memorial.  It's so easy to see why they loved each other so much.  She and both Sadie are beautiful.  I'm so sad that we didn't get to meet sooner so I could have met Sadie.

So, thank you Lisa for letting me do her memorial.  I so glad I got to know both of you even if Sadie was only in pictures, I loved hearing the stories.  I look forward to seeing you more!

Her Retired AvatarComet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly  January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

Comet, my Mom is sitting here bawling. She says Sadie's eyes remind her of mine.

What a beautiful tribute to a very special, sweet Tripawd. The song you picked is so perfect too. Thank you so much for this.

Sadie, run free happy girl, we'll meet up with you some day.

xoxo

Ge'Lena,

Again, thank you so much! I watched it about 10 times last night! You really captured her beauty. I sure do miss her. You have a gift!

Hugs and sloppy spirit Sadie kisses,
Lisa and the spirit bear

Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end.  On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us. http://ranger.t.....pawds.com/

Such a very nice tribute.

It is great to see how Sadie and her family enjoyed life after her surgery, the great outdoors, balls and treats, and sips from the drink! She was beautiful.

What a beautiful tribute and what a beautiful girl…my tears are flowing (once again). Just to see the love between Sadie and her Mom – so beautiful too.  Such a beautiful Sadie Bear….our hearts are with you Lisa.

Kami (Mackenzie & Kobe's Mom)

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!

That was so touching…though I can barely see through the tears to type this!  Lisa, my heart goes out to you…and the personality captured through those photos reminds me so much of Chance…he had that gigantic tongue as well and loved giving kisses!!  She was a beautiful girl.

Chance, our 9.5 year old Rottie/Shepherd mix was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in his left front shoulder.  In July of 2010, we planned to proceed with the amputation, but lung mets were discovered.  Chance reached the Rainbow Bridge October 1, 2010, just a few weeks after his 10th birthday. http://www.figh.....ipawds.com
