Dear John, Di, and Linda: We're so sorry it was Max's time to go. We loved his proud, sweet face—those eyes! I think one of the first pictures I saw of him was his official pet portrait. It was so beautiful. I called the whole family over to see it! And we loved the picture of him eating his birthday (ampuversary?) hotdog. We're on the other side of the country from all of you, but we could tell Max was a happy, well-loved dog. Something in his eyes just seemed to say, "I've got the life."
Everything you've written about Max's last day is so moving and thoughtful. You've shown such kindness, courage, and compassion.
Run free sweet Max! Love to you and a special hug to Linda,
Eve, Romeo, and family

OfflineWe are so sorry for your loss. Max was such a special dog and the fact that you had him for 14 months after his diagnosis must feel like you were given a wonderful gift and blessing. I cry every time I hear that a new tripawd hero leaves this world but it's also comforting to know that they leave us surrounded by so much love, which obviously Max had. You are amazing pawrents and take comfort in knowing that Max knows that too. Our deepest condolences.
