I'm sorry Lexie has gone on.  But what a wonderful life she had with her family!  She was a beautiful girl who was loved beyond words.  I know so many new Tripawd friends welcomed her at The Bridge.

Sending healing thoughts to you.

I'm sorry for your loss.  Lexie is gorgeous and my Libby as well as many other brave warriors are at the Bridge waiting to greet her.  This part is so hard and I'm keeping you in my thoughts.

Amy & Spirit Liby

Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13.  Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14.  She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self.  Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14

Deb,

I'm sorry that it was time for Lexie to move on.  Yesterday I went back and read several of your first posts, how Lexie wasn't really a candidate for amputation with the other issues she had.  It is so clear how much you cared for her and how strong a bond you had- you were so thoughtful and thorough at every step of Lexie's journey.  Only the best for your girl!

As you requested though it is time to celebrate a live well lived, and a bond that will never be broken.  Lexie lives on in your heart and so will always be by your side.

Deb,

I am so very sorry Lexie had to move on. That was certainly the hardest thing for me to grasp but you did it with dignity and I'm sure Lexie was very proud of you for knowing when it was time. I guess you and Greg will have to try out the Canna pet and wine and chocolate on your own in celebration for a wonderful life remembered.

Much Love

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I know that it isn't easy to say goodbye to our loved ones. Especially after going through so much with them. Our bond is stronger than anyone will ever know! Stay strong and remember the great times you had!

Deb and family,

My thoughts are still not very well formulated, but I do just want to send my heartfelt sorrow in your loss of sweet Lexie. What an amazing pup she was, and what an amazing mom you were for her. I know we are supposed to be celebrating her life, and I will, but for now, I just want to be sad for you and her loss.

Lexie will always be remembered, and she will always be a true fighting warrior Tripawd Princess.

Love,

Bonnie & Angel Polly

Thanks so much to everyone for the wonderul words. I've been so behind on updating Lexie's Pinterest board, but just added a few. Work has been keeping me busy...it's a good distraction while we attempt to process things. Meanwhile, I know y'all will enjoy this video. That's my girl!

Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.

Yes indeedy that's your girl showing her stuff! Had to watch it twice because she's just so darn adorable and she makes us all smile. Lexie seemed so pleased with her adorable self.

And that is the type of energy Miss Lexie displayed for at least two hours stright at the Va. Tripawd Pawty!!! It's just wonderful seeingnthis video...yeah, through tears, but n o less wonderful.

Your world has been turned upside down and yet, you still have to go through the motions of your daily obligations through a veil of grey. No need to rush home at night...no need to delay leaving in the morning as long as possible.

I really don't know if it's because of our subconscious energy we are passing on,or if it's because our dogs and cats sense their upcoming transition, but it's as though they go into overdrive and lap up the bliss of life with superman speed! They make sure they cram in as much fun and loving as spoiling as possible until they've had more than they can stand! Then it's like, "Okay, I'm sufficiently filled to the point of overflowing, so I think I'll pack up all this love and head on back home!"

I love how she discerned that her Greg wasn't ready for her transition (what human ever really is) and decided to give everyone a few more of her "bonus days"...herself included! What a girl!!! Waht a soul, a very, very special soul!

PLEASE KEEP DROPPING OFF MORE PICS AND VIDEOS for our viewing pleasure...and what a pleasure it is to see our little miracle girl!!!

This video is such a PERFECT way to celebrate Lexie....it IS Lexie!! And Milo, with all four legs, had a hard time keeping up with her!

Sending you never ending hugs through cyberspace...

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle too!

Don't try and go this part of the journey alone. Our love and support can't take the pain away, but it can bring comfort.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Dear Deb,

i am just trying to catch up on news here and saw. My heart breaks for you and your family. We here know how difficult this is, even though we all know it's something we will all deal with. I think the bond we have and build with our babes going through this becomes stronger even with time. I never imagined it could get any stronger or deeper with Snoop but it did.

You were an incredible advocate for Lexie, and an invaluable support for so many here. I so deeply appreciated it with Snoop. I'm sure he was waiting for her at Rainbow bridge, he was always attracted to the beautiful gals!

you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Deb,

My sincere apologies in my late condolences as I just returned to the site. I am so sorry to hear of Lexi's crossing as I really know what you are going through.

Lexi sure put up a fight and I guess she needed to spend some more time with you and family but do know she is with you all the time. When you are wondering about her, what she is doing, look to the clouds and you will likely see her running and dancing with all her buddies.

Hang in there and please reach out if you need anything.
