Oh yeah, how did she make it from Kentucky to your place? Did you go get her?

She was transported from Kentucky by volunteers for a rescue group called Homeward Bound. They are based here in Indiana, but rescue dogs from all over the place.  When we adopted her on Sunday, other dogs were being picked up by pawrents from New York & Ohio.

Thanks everybody for the wonderful heart felt messages!!

Grateful for every moment we had with Paris…..no regrets! Honoring her life by opening our hearts & home to Addy!

Oh cool! What a scene that must have been, all those pups going to good homes. It makes me teary-eyed just thinking about it.

Ginny,

Addy is an extremely beautiful young lady.  Being one who had to totaly change color when I brought Miss Cherry home, I can fully understand the need to change the color if not the personality.  Addy will allow you to remember your beloved Paris even better while carving a special place in your life.  You are absolutely correct that they never are a replacement, but they are even better by just further expanding your heart and ability to love.

We will have a special toast tonight for the newest member of this community, after all it really is all about the heart.  Will be comming home this weekend, so I expect to view many more pictures and an update of how all is working.  However, I know that Addy will soon settle into your loving home.

Bob
