Good night my sweet Myla

Myla passed away unexpectedly in my arms last night.  The vet had just been at the house an hour before to have a look at here and take some blood to run a cbc count.  Everything looked good.  He autopisied her this morning and discovered that she had a blood clot in her heart.  She did not suffer and she got to leave this world in the arms of the person who loved her the most.  She was most loving, wonderful dog, that lived a great nine and a half years.  My heart is broken, but I hope that soon I will be able to focus on all of the good memories we had together.  Thank you all for your support.

How very sad, but how wonderful she went quickly surrounded by love.  My heart breaks for you as I send good thoughts that you will find strength in facing life without Myla.

RIP sweet Myla.  Run free at Rainbow Bridge.

Oh Neala,

I'm so sorry!  How tragic!  She seemed to be doing so well.  The pain and shock must be so devastating!

It's just so sad.

This happened to my Rugby and he seemed fine one minute and comatose the next.  I didn't get the opportunity to be with him when he died since I left him at the vet's to run tests.  It broke my heart to not get to be with him.  So, it's so nice you got to be with her at the end.

There aren't words that can take away your sadness right now but just know we are here.  Whenever you are up to it, please come and share happy stories of Myla.

My deepest condolences,

Ge'Lena

Neala, we are shocked and saddened, this is very, very sad, and we are deeply sorry.

Our hearts go out to you, we are so sorry.

Thank you for all your kinds words.  I would like to share these pictures that my Dad took of Myla and I, two nights before her surgery.  This dog was special and touched the heart of so many people in her life.  In the last nine and a half years, she has moved close to 20 times with me and has always been great as long as she knew I was close by.  So caring and gentle…..my mom told me that she has heard that dogs like this are called your 'heart dogs'.  I will carry her in my heart forever.

So caring and gentle…..my mom told me that she has heard that dogs like
this are called your 'heart dogs'.  I will carry her in my heart
forever.

The special bond we have with our 'heart dogs' makes the parting so much more difficult.  But as you said- she will be in your heart forever.

I am very sorry for your loss.

Thanks for putting that picture up…I wasn't sure how to do it.  She was a beauty and so strong in ways I can't even explain.
