This link popped up on my Facebook feed today and I thought that I'd share.  It's a really beautiful video - a good-bye poem written from the pet's point of view.  Maybe it will help someone.

A real tear jerker Donna.  It does help one to remember all the precious good days we all had before those end days though.  And I'm sure that is what they would want us to focus on.  Grieving is such a process.  Just when you think it's getting better it can all go the other way again.  I guess that's all part of the healing process though.  Loosing both Max and Ollie within a three month period has definitely taken a huge toll this year.  Both on me and Riley.  Thanks for sharing this to remind me I need to focus on loving the fact that I was able to have both those sweet souls in my life...

OMG .. things NOT to watch at work!!!

That was really beautiful... as you all know, I do still struggle with rationalizing the love I have for Jasper now with the love I had with Shelby and making sure that love was stronger but we all know ... Jasper has wiggled herself into my heart. Grief is the hardest thing in the world for sure ... pet loss seems to be a pain worse than any other. Probably due to their unconditional love! Thank you for sharing!!!

And thank you for reminding us w/this message that every time Jasper makes me happy, Shelby is over the moon happy! Like Christine always says ... I cannot wait to be greeted at the bridge with tons of slobbery kisses!!!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Ohhhh Donna! Not just tears going on over here...pretty much crying right hard!!!

I'm sure this was the same for Linda and for Alison, and anyone else reading this. I felt as though I was in another dimension and my Happy Hannah was speaking the words to me through a "Spiritual" connection. One Soul communicating to another Soul. It really was a profound experience...sad and beautiful.

THANK YOU!!! It was lovely of you to take the time to share. I hope others can find the comfort and "reassurance" in it asap I did.

Oh, that was so, so moving ...

I cried like a baby, it is all so true except in my case somehow the pain never really goes away totally  ...

Memories are still very present and even if it has been years and years my heart sinks when I remember the smell, the smoothness of the fur, the happy, mad barkings and sweet, loving meows

I suppose it will only heal once I am reunited with my departed furry babies ...

Thank you so much for posting this, Donna 💗💗💗
