Going Home: Finding Peace When Pets Die

[Image Can Not Be Found]Just finished this new release and it goes to the top of my list of books on the subject.  There is something here for everyone.  Two weeks ago I gave my copy to a friend having issues with his seven year old Pug.  He and his wife are devastated after suffering the loss of Taz on Saturday.  I am sure the book helped guide their end of life decisions and emphasizes the importance to grieve properly, in a way that leaves you healthier and confident in your decisions and relationship…

Thanks for the tip!  I recently finished Jon Katz' "Izzy and Lenore" and loved it.  Izzy was a hospice therapy dog, a subject near and dear to my heart.

Skyler earned her wings and regained her right rear limb on 6/11/2010. Chloe earned her wings and joined her sister Skyler on 4/4/2011.They are now "Happy Together" with all the other Tripawd heroes and other furbabies that are running free at Rainbow Bridge.
