A Special Poem for Tehya

A very good friend of mine wrote a poem for Tehya that I wanted to share with you all. It is a beautiful tribute to a beautiful girl.

Don’t Cry For Me

Don’t cry for me, my masters
Fore I go to a happy place
Where bones are bigger and better
And my limbs are all in place

I will be happy, arfarf
Though I cannot walk by your side.
I will romp in doggie heaven
Playing ball with Kaydee
Running far and wide

We might come across Shelby
Or maybe Brandy too
So just remember the good times
And try not to feel too blue

We will all be with one another
Playing ball and swimming too
Frolicking like puppies
All very happy
With, nothing else to do.

Yes, you might feel lonely
But memories are special gifts
So call on me through those memories
And I just might,give you a sniff.

I have tried to be good and loyal
But it is time to say goodbye
For I can see my doggie buddies
Way up in the sky

So don’t worry about me
For I am safe and sound
Up here in doggie heaven
Where I can be happy and run around.

Written Especially
FOR THE BEST DOG IN THE WORLD
MY BUDDY TEHYA.

Such a beautiful poem for Tehya. Very comforting indeed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
xoxo Kami and Mackenzie

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!

Wow, I wish I could write like that. Just beautiful, thank you.

It's better to hop on three legs than to limp on four.™
