The beanie babies hang around the bean patch waiting for treats.
Gus is a very casual dog. He swims with his butt and tail out of the water most of the time...just cruises around. Given an even start, Murphy will beat him to the ball every time. We usually wait until Murph is out in front and then throw a second ball for Gus that isn't as far out. That way he gets to swim, br doesn't tire himself out as fast.

Another milestone this morning. We sit out in the back yard when we read the paper in the morning. Until the accident, Murphy always climbed up on the love seat with me while I read. This morning he put a front foot up and looked at me. I told him that he probably wouldn't be able to get up, so he said, "That's what you think!" and climbed right up and put his head in my lap. Lots of doggie kisses this morning.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
That's great, Sally! Murphy will be so happy that Hannah can see him eating those great, low cal treats. HA!
Do you post to Photobucket from your tablet? If so, how? I can post from the PC, but haven't figured out how to do it from the iPad. I have a great video of Murphy subduing the Jose.

Okay! Pay attention tripawd lad! Not only is Kthi starting to type like me .......and I bow down in appreciation for Kathi recognizing a great typing mentor when she sees one ............but now sne wants photo posting instructions from me!!

Okay, so here we go.......if I can just stop giggling lomg enough at the tought of me givig instructio s..............Now, I don't know if tablets and IPods are the same or not, but when I go to pnotopucket, after you tap o to the picture you want........up at the top there will be a line across with something like hhtp/photovucket and then a bunch of goobley gook afterwards........you "touch" that line u til it turns blue....and until a line above it says, cute....paste...etc. You touch CUT.....
then......go to the tripawds page you want.......start your "add toic" utton just press anywhere on the screen unti PASTE shows up......then tap PASTE twice (you have to do it quickly before it disappears)........and.......then while holdingyour breath the "link" should appear!!!
Can't wait to see the video!

Here is a video taken this afternoon of Gus and Murphy having a tug with the Holey Roller. I think I read somewhere that backing up is more difficult for rear leg tripawds, but Murph has this technique nailed. He actually prefers backing up to get out from between the couch and the coffee table...always has, although I can't figure out why.

I think Murph is amazing and I am so glad that he has had so much success from his hip replacement!
I always feel guilt over choosing the replacement for Bud and it turning into his amputation.
I'm glad you shared your story and continue too...it reminds me that it can be a very pawsitive thing!
