Hi all

Just was browsing the internet and fell across this forum and decided to join.  I adopted a 3 legged Chi/rat terrier mix that had her front leg amputated 1 month prior to me adopting her. I saw her and had to have her. She turned out to be the best dog. They told me she was wondering the streets and got hit by a car and then she ran around for months with a injured leg and they decided to amputate it when they found her. Dont know how much is true but doesnt matter because she is mine now. This was back in 2005. Her name is Tinker however we do not call her that her name is Stinkypants or stinky and stinkums. It just stuck and she answers to them all.

When I adopted her she was said to be about 5 or 6. soI am not really sure on her exact age.  We live in Norco CA since i have a abundance of pets.

Well anyway I look forward to meeting and chatting with new friends about their 3 legged fuzzbutts.  If I put this in the wrong section I apologize I am new to this.big-grin

Hey thank you so much! Bless you for adopting such a sweetie! We love stories like Tinker's. We can't wait to see photos and learning all about her adventures. What kind of other furry kids do you have?

I moved your topic only because it would go better in this "Beyond Cancer" area (i.e., pups who are tripawds for reasons other than cancer).

Oh wanted to ask you, are you a registered member? If so, did you register as a member before posting this? Or after? Because your post needed moderation, and it shouldn't for new members. We just did an upgrade here and we'd love to know if there's a bug that needs fixin. Thanks!

Hi Stinkypants mom,

So happy to hear that you rescued your sweetie... She is one lucky dog! I'm looking forward to reading all about her and maybe seeing some pictures of your cutie. Have you thought about starting a tripawds blog for her?
