We have noticed that on Rocky's remaining leg right over the ankle joint he has a lump... it doesn't cause him any pain. Could this be the result of him using the leg so much? I am also wondering if he quite possibly broke his leg back when he was hit by the car.
I think a visit to our vet is in his very near future....

Hmmm, that could certainly be a fracture that didn't heal but then again maybe that's just puppy bone structure? It's been so long since I've been around one that age. I'm not a vet, but I would have yours look at it next time you're there. That's super smart of you to ask about it though, good job!
He's just adorable, I love how hoppy he looks!

Thank you everyone for your info. I am going to have our vet take a look at it when we take Rocky in to get neutered. (The end of the month) I have a funny feeling that he had a fracture in that leg as well. Considering the seriousness of his injuries.
Since it seems to not bother him right now, I am just going to keep a close eye on it.
