Yeah, from what others have said who have done physio, it can be very helpful.
What is the outcome you visualize for Novak from this therapy? What does havong Novak be Noval mean to you? Talk things over with the Specialist zo you can work on that goal together, or some variation of.
From the outside looking in, it really looks like,as far as Novak is concerned, Novak IS himself! Novak isn't focused on what he "can't" do, he's just enjoying everything he CAN do! Really! I really do believe that!
And goodness gracious, you are not procrastinating!! You have had sooooo much on your plate! And you jzve done a spectacular job of dealing with everything thrown your way!! Be ki d to yourself a d recognize what a brave and courageous human you are!! 🙂 🙂
Lots of love!

I think, that Novak can be more than he is now, to accomplish more as a tripawd then now. Because he as lost muscle mass, he's not strong like he was at the beginning of his amputation, so thats what I want for him, to be in shape. He's clearly hurting sometime, soreness, or whatever it is, but I can't see him hurting like that. I dont mind about him not doing frisbee again or any intense activity, but Im aiming to just be in shape so he can have a long life pain free. He's more in pain now than he was with his bad knee and I regret the amputation almost everyday. Hoping that with physio, he will be pain free.
His temperament as change a bit too, with him being reactive toward other dogs, etc... even with us, he's more growling when we touch him(pain I think). He's still is the same sweet boy that I love, very affectionate and funny, etc... but the pain is making him act differently. So thats what Im talking about when I say he's not himself.
Got it! Makes perfect sense! You have a very realistic goal and one that is definitely achievable!
Pain can make anyone a little grumpy and snarky! It sure can me,!
Paws crossed this is going to be a great on so many levels!!!!
