Adding a "WHEW" here as well !!

And I want to second that whole "get a job and your own credit card."

Good-God-Gurdy!!

Harmony became a Tripawd on 10/21/14 (MCT). She left us way too soon on 11/1/14.

Love the way Frankie is winking at you when you said he should get a job!

It's great to hear that Myrtle is on the mend.

Kathi and the Turbotail April Angel...and the Labradork

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!

UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

OH thank goodness!! We are so so so happy to hear this....Eric said he was thinking about Myrtle this morning. I'm thinking Myrtle should get a job as a Starbucks spokes pup, so she can pay her AND Frankies medical bills.

TREATS all around for pups and wine for all of us in celebration!! Hooray for good news!

Yea after looking into both Frankie and Myrtles eyes I'm not thinking the job and credit card will be happening anytime soon.  Their expressions are sayin' yea we'll get right on that mom and i think that's being said with a tad bit of sarcasm.  So happy to hear the good update on Merry Myrtle.  If anyone here deserves " smooth sailing" for a while you certainly do!

good, Gooder, GREAT!

I never had much luck having the pugs pay any of their bills.  At least the vet could name a wing after you or something!

Thank Goodness about the x-rays and the report.  Yeah they were laughing their hineys off at the jobs and CC.  "Ya right mom, we know you have us covered 😉 "

Those two know you and how much you love them and wouldn't make them work lol.  That is like me making mine work.  Do you remember the Dunkin Donut commercial where the guy leaves the house and says "time to make the donuts" and eventually meets himself at the door coming & going.  That is what it feels like here sometimes.  I am always telling mine "Time to make the donuts"

love you my friend.  The power of Tripawd prayers Rock.

Thanks to each of yiu for taking the time to share in the joy and relief!!! You have no idea how much fun it is to read of each of your responses! I think we have quite the group of accomplished comedians here! clown

Yep! Tripawd Power Rocks!!

Dunkin Donuts for everybody!!winker

Love, love, love!!

Oh, my "third vet" reviewed the emailed xrays and said that the front leg issue seemed to be resolving and she didn't think it was that loece of crap. Okay, she didn't say "piece of crap". She also said the hip looked "dysplastic" (guess that's hip dysplasia) and had some mild degenerative disease. AND, this vet is owned by a big dog who had a similar issue, only worse. She found that glucosamine and Adequan made a HUGE difference and her dog has no problems! YAY FOR A THIRD OPINION!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Your vet is correct Sally. A high quality glucosamine will help now, eventually adequan when she get solder or starts showing signs of pain. Also, keep her active and slimmer than you think she needs to be...taking weight off those joints will make a BIG impact (studies have shown as much as a daily dose of Cosequin!). Wyatt has a dysplastic hip as well, we've been doing these things for all his life and he's doing great.
