Zuko is going to start chemotherapy (carboplatin) in about a week or so but I've also been researching some holistic methods. I came across Artemisinin and Artemix and read how they potentially have some cancer killing abilities. I am definitely interested in getting him on this so, I was wondering if anyone knows if it is safe to have Zuko on Artemisinin or Artemix while he undergoes chemo? and, if anyone has done so, it would be great to get some insight on your experiences Thanks!

Please consult with your oncologist for faster, more accurate feedback for your dog's specific case.

I used it for Tazzie but not until after the carboplatin was finished.

I would run any supplements past your oncologist first.

Thanks!

I just wanted to ask here because, unfortunately, we don't have oncologists on Guam

Consider asking your vet to send your dog's case to the Argus Institute at Colorado State University. Their volunteers offer free (donations-based) consulting to pet parents around the globe.
