So today, I was at a scent detection trial, we were missing the interior search and the containers at the advance level, we already qualified at the exterior search. The interior search was delimited by an agility gate all around the search area, I ask if I could do the search unleash, cause you know, its easier with a tripawd, he said yes, but to be carefull so the dog doesnt go off bounce, Im like, no no, hes ok, he wont jump that fence, he said, yes but he can go underneath it, im like, oh no, he wont do that. So anyway, started my search with the leash on, it was doing ok, we found our first scent, then, we continued searching, and I was letting him snif all around the gate, by pointing it...and then, he jumped the fence/gate! And we were OUT LOLOL Im like, omg, theres no way I would have though he would do that, but of course, thinking about it now, its Novak, he doesnt know hes on 3, he wants to do all the same things. And because I was pointing it, maybe he though that I wanted him to jump over?? Who knows! Crazy dog! So that was it!

But he did an amazing job on the containers and pass it with a perfect score our first perfect one since we all doing that sport! He was totally into it, perfect, it sad that we disqualified for the interior search. Well, its a dog life, we never know what they will do! It was a cool sunny day where we stayed outside and chatted with friends.

Okay....excuse the "print size"....or "font size"....I had all the body of the response in 18 pt....and my signature in "regular" size.......and that's how it showed up on my tavlet....until I hit "submit" and then it reversed the sizes!   Grrr..........

Anyway.....invision my ppst in big happy and excited font size.....because I AM HAPPY and excited for you and Novak!!!!

Good job Novak!  Blaze your own trail- don't let those gates fence you in big-grin

You are our inspiration for Nose Work- Elly and I have been taking classes since January.  Our biggest issue to date is that Elly has severe separation anxiety when left alone in my truck.  We have been working on it since February and are making progress.

We are signed up for our first ORT in November, although we are first on the wait list. I don't know if she will be able to handle the truck by then, but our trainer has said that she will go with us.  Elly is pretty good at finding odor, I'm not doing as well reading her though.
