I jave something in my tavlet that says "my files". From what I can tell, everytime I take a photo and it shows up in my "gallery", it a@so shows up in "my files"....very, very tiny pictures, vut it show up!
I don't feel like it's "safe" though because it's still on my tavlet and I suppose at some point, the same thing could happen. "They" could start charging for "storage" PLUS, I don't like knowing the ONLY place I have these ohotos is in my tavlet....it could break...it could get lost (doG forbid) or ruined with slobber! 🙂
As anyone here knows, Jerry has been more than kind in helping us figure this out as far as vlogs. I told her I wanted to get as far as I could first with that process and tpTHEN I woukd bombard her with questions!!!

Best way to get them online again is to start a Tripawds blog. Sally had not done so yet. Just FYI: our blogs and all content that resides on Tripawds servers is archived, backed up and stored both online and offline in safe places. No worries there.
Sally, you are correct. Your photos are NOT 100% safe on your tavlet because anything can happen to that machine. You must always, always back up to a hard disc that resides in your possession if you want to be sure they are safe. Perhaps now that Holly has your images that can be done for you with the ones that were online. Holly, I would be happy to send you a thumb drive that you can load then ship to Sally. Let me know.

Those codes MUST link to the photo fubucket posts, Holly. I've just checked and the codes are there, linking the image to the original post. They also have dates, which will greatly help in locating them. It's got to be possible to put this jigsaw back together. Well done!

I just wanted to clarify that Fox sold Photobucket to this newest company a few years ago at what some people thought was a very good price. Fox probably knew that advertising might not bring in the amount of money they wanted.
Let me know if I can do anything. We can work as a team on separate Sally blogs. I know that Teresa is traveling for a few weeks. Last week I was able to download some of her photos. Does anyone know if she needs/wants some help?

I am not sure if this will be helpful for you? Can you use a flash drive on the tablet??? I have them saved on a external hard drive too !! If I can load them to your blog ( your set up) I would be happy to do that!;) Whatever we can do to get Sally back up and running let us know!!

And yeah, I thought that's what I had read too. At least Forbes seems to be staying in top of this and keeping us somewhat updated as best they can based on the google articles.
Last I spoke with Teresa she was going to go ahead RELUCTANTLY and pay the ransom. I know fubucket ran the credit card through TWICE and jad not restored her photos at that time. I'll hop over to her posts and see.

We love you Sally for all you do for this community ! This is nothing really!! We got the flash drive for you!! Sally's flashdrive if she can or cannot use! It is your gold nugget of all the photos you treasure most! Talk to Bobby see what he says! But I would like you to have the flash drive for safe keeping either way! Hmm, not quite. Or not in the way I think you mean. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. What I do know is that if you double click on one of those wretched pictures that have replaced where your photos used to be, it takes you to the original location of the photo on Photobucket, and there the codes are still visible. I think that these codes relate to the IMG codes of each photo you can see in Holly's screenshot. What this means (if I'm right) is that it should be possible to locate where each picture originally was and reinstate it. This does mean manually going through the posts and relinking each photo to its new location in your blog (once the photos are there). There is no way of restoring the original codes as these link to photo bucket, which will not display your photos. So, it is good news (and it is BRILLIANT news that, whatever else, we have the photos), but it is going to take a lot of time to create all the new links.
It is also going to require Admin to enable us to access the old posts and change the links. Is it possible to do that Admin???
Timewise, it's not a problem, now that we have the photos, we can simply work through it methodically, once we know exactly what we are doing. I'm in, Holly and Kerren are in. Many paws make light work, and between us...
We WILL do this, Sally. YOU are not causing ANY ruckus. This is photofubucket's greed and cynicism from start to finish and we are not going to let them destroy things. End of.

is the name of one of the photos on the Vultures thread. I got it by double clicking the ransom pic, and then clicking on the IMG link. Once we have the file with the pics in, we should be able to do a search and find the original. Holly, I think we're going to need the same file as you have with all the pics in because that has the codes. Would you be able to share it via dropbox?

A couple of things, We need to clarify first are-
- Sally - Is or has anyone else tried helping you take your take photos off the Photofubucket?
Was yesterday the first time anyone has got this far and got them downloaded for you? We want to make sure we don't have more then this group doing the same thing for you;)
When we have that answer we can go forward a numerous amount of ways!!!!
- To be clear as I stated yesterday I have ALL the photos downloaded - I have them on 2 drives one on a flash drive Sally's Flash Drive and one on a external drive! Every picture that was on SALLY"S account is on these drive!s ! Duplicates and all!! ALL SAFEE!!!!

We - all of us are all figuring out what is the best way to do this and what is easiest for Sally. We ALL need to be on the the same page:) Clearly we all want to fix this Sally's bucket mess!!
We need to start with Sally and get that clarified first.
Then - The Who what where & answers to some of the questions - and we go from there!
Then we can all 🖕🏻the bucket;) I'm sorry, but I just have to vent one little emoticon;) messing with precious photos!!
