As part Tripawds' mission to educate the public about the capabilities of three legged amputee dogs, we recently exhibited at the Doggie Olympics in Fort Collins, Colorado.

With our homemade Buja board, various Tripawds Gear and handouts, we and Tripawds Spokesdawg Wyatt Ray showed the world what tripawds can do!

The Doggie Olympics is a local institution that benefits animal assisted activities and therapy programs. Participants compete in obedience, agility, retrieval and catch contests to earn medals and prizes.

We'd like to thank you, the Tripawds community, for giving to the 2010 fundraising campaign because . . .

your generosity went toward helping us pay the $40 exhibitors fee and another $75 to print up a laminated poster and fliers to hand out. We saved money by borrowing a canopy for shade, but someday we'll get one of our own.

The materials we had were terrific, and it's all because you helped create our very first event display! Thank you!

Throughout the day, Wyatt Ray demonstrated his Buja board talents, and even showed another Tripawd named Spree how to rock and roll on his rocker board!

Even Spirit Peyton's Pack, Cami, Kris and Dillon and Rhys stopped by to say hello!

We'll be attending more dog events like this, preferring to focus on affordable gatherings spotlighting canine health care and related activities.

If you know of any neat dog events that we should attend, let us know!

It's better to hop on three legs than to limp on four.™
