I probably should let a monkeybutt answer this so I don't mis-state their being.

Monkeybutts are the 'four-legged' other dog in the family with a tripawd.  Their job is to annoy the tripawd in an effort to attract some of the attention that is forever flowing onto the tripawd.

They are kinda like the bad child who will doesn't care if they get negative attention, just so it is attention.

Good question, with good timing!

Be sure to review the recent Monkeydogs cross-species classification for complete details and don't miss the No Monkeydogs!

OH!  I have avoided these posts because I thought it was something to do with Cooper and Comet... Now I get it!  I feel really stupid...

I have the king of MonkeyButts!  His name is Titan (how appropriate right?) and he is 185 lbs and completely irritated with Sammy my tripawd!!

Thanks for the description Trouble, I will have to tune in to see if he has been causing angst in places other than our house... hmm.

I couldn't begin to say how special Sammy is to us.  Living and laughing with and loving this wonderful boy is priceless.
