I only had less than 24 hours, but better that than not going at all!  Left Monday at 5pm, climbed a steep grade one-lane road to my special place in the Sierras at 7500' and never saw a soul.  Left to come back home at noon yesterday.

Miles had a blast!  He never strayed far without a leash, so I let him hop around and explore.  That separation anxiety is good for something!

Thanks!  I guess I was impatient.  When it posted it wasn't there, must have taken a minute to show.  🙂

OH!  That was wonderful!  I loved the part where Betty is needing in the camper to take a nap!  Miles was so patient while she was trying to climb the steps.  A true gentleman!

How wonderful! That tail never stops wagging, does it?! It's great to see all of you having such a wonderful time - so glad Miles found his home with you.

Proud mother of Max, an 11-year-old Border Collie mix who was sure he was a Real Boy.

Diagnosis of osteosarcoma of the left rear leg and lymphoma in February 2010.

That annoying leg was removed April 7, 2010 and was never missed.

Max left for the Rainbow Bridge on July 29, 2010 and is now running free. We love you!

What a great video! The scenery is just beautiful - no wonder you would steal time to go up there.  Miles and Betty look so happy, Miles smelling the flowers and just loving life.  Love the ending with Betty and Miles next to you on the front seat - so incredibly sweet!!  laugh

Kami (Mackenzie's Mom)

My sweet golden Mackenzie.  She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2  although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home.  She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009.  She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes.  I love you Mackenzie!
