Sir Lancelot arrived at our house on September 1st.  I know Otis wanted us to feel safe and to keep us safe like he did for 8 years.  I also know - that Otis knew That i needed someone to take care of.

The grief is still there but having another dog to care for makes the pain a slight bit easier to  deal with.

Sir Lancelot is also a PTSD Service Dog.

Otis - 121 lbs pre amp - 114 lbs post amp and now 118 lb Great Dane - English Mastiff X.  Started limping on 12/24/16.  Diagnosed with Osteosarcoma 12/28/16 - amputation of front left leg on 1/6/17.  Stitches out and 1st round of Chemo on 1/19/17.   2nd round of Carboplatin on 2/10/17 - 3rd round on 3/2/2017.  4th round was scheduled for 3/22/17 - however due to low WBC postponed - 4th Chemo completed on 3/28/17.  Had breathing difficulties, stayed in Tufts ICU overnight.  Due for 2 more rounds of Chemo but we are opting to go with homeopathy with Dr. Loops instead.

Otis sure did make an EXCELLENT choice!!  Mr Moo Sir Lancelot will DEFINITELY add a layer of protection ro your life, as well as joy and happiness and love.  All of this will add to the great bond you will ALWAYS have with Otis.  Sure, the sadness will always be there because Otis isn't still here in his earth clothes, but Mr Moo will help add color and brightness to those colorless days of grief.

CANNOT WAIT TO HEAR MORE!!!!   I know he must have a veey interesting background...And I also knkw he will jave a future of love and care and happiness that he deserves.  And Otis is just  beaming watching you two discover the joys of being together.

Sending lots and lots of love!

Welcome to the family Sir Lancelot aka Mr.  Moo.   We are glad Otis sent you a furry friend to take care of.  I am sure that you will love and take excellent care of him.

Yes, having another "little" furryface baby to take care of helps to heal the heart.  Not that the grief won't be there but it will be a little less.

hugs
