Be carefulwith that Barney, I'm not absolutely sure he's not an imposter! The last time I remember seeing the little guy he was being toted off in an ambulance. I had to make up some stupid love story because I felt so guilty. You had better do a paw print just to make sure!

Remember how I said if I had an extra squeaker, I would give Barney open squeaker surgery so Chloe would be more likely to play with him?  Well, Mr. Camo Man decided to donate his squeaker to Barney if he ever gets the chance to meet Chloe.  That was one of his last dying wishes…

As you can see, if Barney has a squeaker, Barney will be in trouble.  Mr. Camo Man passed away at 8:40am.  You can read his obit and about his funeral in my blog.

The snow is finally gone, the bluebirds are singing and the Dalmatian Den officially invites Barney to "vacation" in Western New York, home of Letchworth State Park aka The Grand Canyon of the East. Daisy said that she will give him a lift round the park on her new snazzy wheels but cannot promise that Monkeybutt Samson will not try to toss him down the 550 ft gorge into the Genesee River as a sacrificial offering to the Monkeybutt gods.

Weeeeeee waaaaaant Baaaaarneeeeeee. Weeeeeee willlllll shooooow himmmmm a realllly gooooooood tiiimme heeeere in Oaktowwwwwooowwwn (said in my best scary 'Shining' voice). Oh, yesh, we will! The Oaktown Pack knowz how to treat a guest, oh yesh they do! We'll get him a bullet proof vest an a fancy ride with rims an a AK-47, or maybe a rocket-launcher! Woohoo!  But we think he should go to Rio first 'cause she def wins the sympathy vote around here! Then when Rio is done with him she can just ship him down the west coast to us!

To amp up the sympathy votes, we are currently en route from Denver to Seattle, an 18+ hour drive. We made the trek out on Friday for a family funeral. Rio's great grandmother passed away last week — just two weeks before her 94th birthday.

We need ya, Barney! It's been a tough month!

Thanks, Admin Guy, we appreciate your vote! April kinda stunk! We are hoping for a halfway decent May, and a visit from Barney would definitely bolster our spirits. Then maybe the fact that it's 37 degrees and raining wouldn't be so depressing! We need to shred some purple!
