Happy Thanksgiving.  Yes, I know I am posting this a day early but I will be busy finishing cooking and serving dinner for everyone tomorrow.  I want to say thank you to Jim, Rene, Jerry & Wyatt Ray for giving us this wonderful community.  Over the past 2 years I have made lots of great friends here.

I am thankful for this community/family all my friends here.  I am glad that Jim/Rene have gone out of their way to keep this community going without them I would have been lost.

I am also Thankful for a great guardian Angel my Sassy Sugar Bear.

Keep safe during this holiday season

Hugs

Michelle & Angel Sassy

What a great idea, Michelle!

As a Canadian - I am thankful to vicariously share this Thanksgiving day with all of the friends I have made on Tripawds!

I am thankful that I have been blessed with the continual physical presence of my wonderful tripawd, Tucker.

I am thankful for the expressions of incredible strength, love and courage I have been privy to "watching" new Tripawds begin their journey as well as when it is time for some of those on the journey to cross the bridge.

Many hugs and much love

Linda and Tucker

Ohhhh Michelle, thank YOU for starting this topic and for your sweet words.

We are so thankful for all of the goodness and compassion, concern and caring for one another that happens here every day of the year. We are thankful for the good friends and all the wonderful people who have helped grow this community into something greater than we ever imagined it could be.

And of course, we are thankful for the amazing Tripawd dogs and cats of this community!

We hope everyone has a beautiful day tomorrow whether you're in the USA or anywhere else in this great big connected community of ours :)

Thank you so much for all you do.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!

I am so thankful for the 3 years (almost) that I have been with this community. I also want to express my eternal gratitude to Jim, Rene, Jerry & Wyatt Ray for making this community possible; I don't know what I would have done without all the wonderful people and furbabies here. You have touched so many people and made so many lives easier because we are connected.

Please give all your dogs and cats a big hug from Lily and mesmiley Michelle, thanks so much for starting thisclapclap

Sending hugs,

Joan and Lily

Our beautiful Lily was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her front leg on 12/14/11 at age 8 and had amp on 12/16/11. She completed 5 rounds of carbo. She was so brave and kicked cancer's butt daily! She lived life fully for 4 years, 3 months, and 15 days after her amp. My angel is a warrior princess. I miss her so much.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Like others have said I'm so thankful for this community.  You helped me with my Leland when he underwent his amputation and you've helped me heal after we had to let him go.

I'm also thankful that I was able to open my heart and home to my spoiled rotten Lucian.  He has no idea that he hit the doggy lottery when we chose to bring him into our life...with the help of our Leland of course.

Hugs everyone!

Sahana and her Angel Leland

I am thankful for friends and family, including my fur kids. I am thankful for this place of support and comfort. I am thankful for the acceptance that is shown here. Thank you, thank you, thank you. On top of that, I am thankful for a hubby that loves dogs enough to run one to the ER at 4 AM. Lori, TY, Lucy, Chan and Daryl

TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed  and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. I am thankful for the 13 1/2 years  I had with Shelby ... I Am thankful for ALL my friends here that I have met through our  diagnosis and transition. I am thankful that I am able to remain here even though I don't have a Tripawd anymore.

And I am forever thankful for Rene, Jim and Jerry for being the bravest souls to start this world and continue it in the face of tremendous sadness..

Yes, I'm a few days late but I just got back last night from my trip!

Hugs,

Alison with the Spirit of Shelby fur-ever in her heart (and little jasper too)

Shelby Lynne; Jack Russell/Shiba Inu mix. Proud member of the April Angels of 2014.

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
