Thank you for offering to add Honey's name to the shirt. We would love that. We were hoping and planning to do the walk with Honey. Some of her family will walk on her behalf and on the behalf of the tripawds family. We'll look for you!

Dx Osteosarcoma  3/31/10.  Amputation 7/21/10. Honey put up a valiant fight and lost her battle 9/22/10. Missing her and treasuring 9 years with our Honeygurl.

We would be honored to have our Golden Johann's name added to your shirt. He died froma cancerous brain tumor when he was 7. He was our first baby together before we adopted our (2 legged) twins. Johann was named Johann Sebastian after Bach. My husband is a professional violist as well as a pianist and Bach is his favorite composer. Johann had the typical goofy Golden personality, so we called him YoYo most of the time. Of course the vets insisted on calling him Joanne LOL.

Can you add Simba? He had to be put down in 2008 at age 13 after we grew up together because of lymphoma sarcoma. I would love for him to be remembered. A three-legged diva now keeps me company :)

My shirt arrived yesterday!!!!! smilesmilesmile

It is so cool, I ordered a bright green one, which I must say hi-lights Miss Chloe's likeness very well.

I wore it proudly today when I went to meet Sammy and his mom for his first chemo treatment, appropriate, no?

Thank you again for walking for the heroes who are still with us and those who have passed on- And for the humans too!!

So glad you got a shirt!!! Chloe moved in with me today (I will make a new forum post to let everyone know) and I updated my blog with a few pictures and short movies! More to come tomorrow since I didn't have much time to add more (parents visiting, they brought her).

And yes very appropriate to wear for Sammy's first chemo treatment way-cool

PS. I added Simba's name! He is number 59 so check back soon for an updated picture!

Up to 60 names!!!! Guess what that means???? A new photo!!! Here it is! I still have plenty of room if you would like your dog's name added! We are requesting names of dogs who have been affected by cancer.  They can be cancer survivors or those who have bravely lost their battle to it.  I was holding the shirt to get it in the best light, but it still looks a bit lopsided (not that way in real life though!)

Aww – Thanks, Chloe's mom. So nice to see Honey's name there.

She's having some good days and we're happy.

For those of you new here to Tripawds (within the last few weeks) I just wanted to post a reminder that Chloe and I are doing our K9 Walk for Cancer in 2 WEEKS! Yes that is 10/10/10!  We are still only at 60 names and we can fit many more on the back of our shirt!

We are requesting names to write on the back of my Tripawd Chloe shirt in order to walk for dogs that have been affected by cancer: they can be cancer survivors, just dianogsed, or have lost their battle to cancer (+ added to name).  Please leave your dog or dogs' names here (if you have had more than 1 affected by cancer) and we will be sure to put them on the shirt! If you scroll up the forum you will see a picture of the current 60 names!! Every 10 names I get, I post a new picture!

If you are interested in walking with us in spirit on 10/10/10 in your own neighborhood, you might consider purchasing a Tripawd Chloe tribute shirt to wear that day!  All proceeds go to keeping this site free for users like YOU!  It is a version of the shirt I will be wearing at the K9 Cancer walk and includes 47 of the dogs I will be walking for (listed on the back)! Check out the link to the shirts by clicking here or the picture below! There are MANY options from tanks, to Tees to even sweatshirts! Something for everyone!
