We did it! Finally after much searching we found suitable wheels for our Lylee. I'll post on her blog with more pics how it all worked out. But here is a quick shot i took the day we got it (off Craigslist)

Seriously cool that we got one for her - just sorry we didn't do it sooner!

She's so cute in there.  May be our answer as well.  Baby hates it when Toby goes for a walk without her.  This would be cool, but it would have to be huge!  She's 155lb.

Enjoy your new 'ride'

How darling she looks in there! How does she like it? How does she manuver steps?

— Beth and Spirit Smilin' Sammy

Smilin' Sammy, March 16, 2004 – Dec. 5, 2011
Golden retriever, diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September 2010 — right front leg amputated November 2010. He fought valiantly to stay with us; but a second diagnosis of osteosarcoma, this time in his left front leg, was more than our golden warrior could overcome. He loved his pack — and everyone else he met.

We loved him even more.
Thanks for the pennies, Sammy. They helped.

Lylee looks so snug; the girl is certainly ready to roll!  How did your first stroll go?  Is this a dog stroller or a human one?

Baby is 155# with three legs- WOW!!!!!!  However did you guys cope immediately after the amp?  You must be seriously strong!

Scout: January 31, 2002 to November 7, 2011

Scout's diagnosis was "poorly differentiated sarcoma"; amputation 1/11/2011.  Scout enjoyed 9 fantastic years on 4 legs and 9 glorious months on 3 legs.  If love alone could have saved you…

OK- chariot races at the next Nor Cal Tripawd meet up!!!  Although with those big wheels you have an advantage over the pug stroller and Shelby's red wagon!  And my knees aren't what they used to be!

How exciting for Lylee!  Looks like she has taken to it just fine.  Now she has to work on her Queen Mum wave!

Oooo, chariot races - good idea, Karen! We'd consider a trip up to Nor Cal to see that!

Have fun, Lylee!

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Tripawds blog, and a more detailed blog here. Please also check out my novel, What the Dog Ate. Now also in paperback! Purchase it at Amazon via Tripawds and help support Tripawds!

I think she needs decorative pinwheels added to the cart.  big-grin  Or, maybe some streamers?

Zeus was a Husky mix diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at age 11.  A visible lung met and suspicious spot on his liver meant a poor prognosis-six weeks was our vet's best guess. We decided to fight for our boy and his right front leg was amputated on 12/1/11. We did six rounds of chemo, changed his diet and spoiled him completely rotten. We were blessed with 10 great months after diagnosis. Against the odds, the lung met remained a single met and grew very little over those months. A wonderful furbaby with the most gentle spirit, he fought with a strength that we never imagined he possessed. We have no regrets...

Awesome Lylee!!! Do you actually stay in it? Miss Pegz loves the walk....but gets mad at her Mom for making her turn back before Monkey Chaz has to turn back. SHe wants to go all the way with him, but it is a little too far and one time we had to carry her and it was not pretty. Very undignified for a warrior princess.

I am afraid she will always try to jump out along the route. What do you think?

Oh, Lylee you are absolutely styling in your new buggy.  Daisy is getting one (waiting for the tax refund) and I'm hoping after I spend all that money she will actually ride in the thing.  She's kind of weird when it comes to anything "different".
