I just wanted to drop y'all a line to say I'm sorry for being absent the last 2 weeks. We've successfully closed on our house and moved to the new one all whilst Meesha was recuperating from her surgery. WHEW!!!
Any-hoo, I'm hoping to get caught up on everything the next few days.
Alison, referencing the subject line, while we moved, all our clothing had been packed into one of those "pods" without any forethought to not having access during certain times. With that said, we, the hub-a-dub and myself, had to wear whatever we could find. In 2 weeks, today is the first time my clothes match. All the other times I'd have to run to the store looking like a "booger on a handkerchief".
Missed you guys, can't wait to get caught up on everything Tripawd!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
LOL!!!! Grinning BIG time here... you know how I love me some "southern phrases"..... I can't wait to use that one out here in Cali.Â
So glad the move is OVER and all went well. We have been thinking of you! How is Miss Meesha doing? I assume ALL better and everyone is comfy and settled in your new estate. It's so pretty... I showed Jasper and she told me that she thinks she picked the wrong family out here in a 700 sqft beach casa. I bet you have lots of squirrels for her to chase out there! 🙂Â

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed  and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.Â
Okay, so there's an addendum to this story:
The hub-a-dub and I work at the same place. Thank goodness we're in different departments! Around lunchtime today, a co-worker came into my office with my the hub-a-dub's pants in his hands. Now I know the look on my face had to be hilarious as I was trying to mentally figure out why this person was handing me Ron's pants, but then the realization as to where Ron was without his pants.
My co-worker went on to tell me that hub-a-dub was stuck in the mens-room in his boxer shorts because he broke the zipper of his pants. He then "sent" his pants to me to fix. Seriously?
So while people are starting to laugh and I'm desperately trying to figure out how to fix this zipper, my phone rings and the caller ID shows Ron's cell phone number. Yeah, he's calling me from the restroom.
Now it's really starting to get funny as I'm having a dog-of-a-time trying to get this zipper working. Finally I have to cut it, reattach and sew it back together so it won't come apart before we get home tonight. I send them back to him in the restroom via the A/P department manager who I can hear howling with laughter when he gets into the restroom.
When the hub-a-dub comes out of the bathroom and we're leaving the building for a later than normal lunch, he relays to me in the parking lot that he couldn't find any underwear this morning except for his ratty, hole-ridden, paint-speckled pair.
I thought I was going to pee-my-pants.

OMG .... Pam... this was the BEST pick me up from a bad day story - EVER! I cannot stop laughing... and I love that at first you wondered "why he was handing you the pants" not the "why Ron didn't have any pants"... LOL... no LMAO!!!!!Â

Lesson learned ... always wear pretty undies! 🙂Â

Oh I love this story about hubby's pants!!! I'm so full of giggles right now I need to get myself under control before my next phone conference starts...
I think if you guys still can't find your undies in the boxes take a trip to Wal-Mart or Target and get some to get you through. I can't quit picturing ratty, holey, paint splattered undies...lol!!!
