I think the title says it all!!!
Jasper and I were on vacation for the past week and I needed a coffee so guess who got her first puppy latte. Side note... that is A LOT of whipped cream for a little dog! LOL
She loved it!! We drove up the coast to Santa Cruz for a few days ... hiked the redwoods, played on the beach, chased skateboards (I do not love that). 🙂
Then drove further north to help my "cousin" (it's complicated) turn 100!!!! She looks amazing and is active and spry! Then Jasper and I hit up more redwoods, some wineries and then back to our life in LA (sigh, sigh, sigh).
It was a great road trip with my little sidekick!
We are always happy happy when we are out of the city and into the woods! And Shelby sent us a penny on our first day! Lucky girls indeed! We missed you all!

October 15, 2000 to April 8, 2014
Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
Oh what fun you had on that getaway! She is such a little traveler, like she's done it all her life.
As for the Puppy Latte...wow! Looks like she's LOVING that treat!

Been following your journey on Facebook and looks like you two enjoyed every minute and every second. Beautiful places you went. LOVE the look on Jasper's face as she's "slightly judging" you. Makes me laugh. She has such an expressive face! You two are such a great team!

And so very dainty and lady-like with that latte! Ollie had his all over his face, and someone else who shall remain nameless has hers all the way down the side of the car. It sure looked like a great trip.

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
OOOOOOOMMMMMMDDDDDDD!!!!! We have another Starbucks connoisseur! And yes, a very dainty one at that! LOOK at Jasper Lily's eyes! That dog is out of this world with joy...and a huge sugar high!!! You're right Alison, that is a whole lot of whip cream for a tiny booty dog! "Nameless" woukd have that gone in three slobbery licks!
And the pictures on your little get away are, as usual, priceless and always with perfect captions! You really can read her thought bubbles perfectly!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Pofi and Mia want Jasper Lilly to know northern Cal was one of their best adventures ever and they are jealous she is so much closer!

On October 27, 2016, nearly 6 months after amputation, and 18 months since his cancer likely started, we lost Pofi to a recurrence of Soft Tissue Sarcoma in his spine quite suddenly. His canine sister also succumbed to cancer on March 1, 2019 - we lavished her with our love in the interim, but life was never quite the same without her only real canine friend. Cliff kitty had to leave us, too, suddenly, in August 2019. Lucia kitty grieved all these losses, but helped us welcome two new Lurchers into our home and our lives, Shae and Barley.
Thanks ALL! She indeed did have some crazy eyes when she got her puppy latte! She had never experienced that before I am sure.
We did have the best trip and she has proven (aside from her hatred of the car .... oh how i wish she would sleep in the car) to be a great travel buddy! By the 4th national park, she was over the hiking thing (again, if she just slept in the car ...).
We are looking forward to our next adventure which will probably be the Northern CA Tripawds Gathering in the fall sometime!
And I'm still catching up on Tripawds here so back to checking on the news .... hope everyone else is happy, healthy and being more dog and loving life!

Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.
Had to go back and wstch the video again..with the vokume up! Had ro hear me some Aerosmith IMasper Lily's slurping sounds are right in sync with the music
