Even though I told Merry Myrtle she needed to save her allowance if she wanted to bid on the auction, she continued to buy Puppy Lattes. She only had $2 left for the Auction so got outbid on EVERYTHING!! Duh!!
And Frankie, well he rarely gets much allowance. I have to dock him everytime he counter surfs. He was ony able to save 5¢. So he got outbid too!

PAULA!!!!!! MICHELLE!!!! YES! These two sent this wonderful surprise to us!! I'm just all teary over their generosity! The bags of treats...the elvow protectors (that's what Merry Myrtle and Frankie were carting off together out of the box)...the adorable sling (this was like the one Sassy wore)...ALL WONDERFUL GIFTS!!
And there wasn't even any postage due!! Total and selfless giving from two beautiful Souls!
As I always say, this journey isn't "just about amputation", it's about a generosity of spirit, love, compassion,selflessness, sincerity genuineness, enlightenment and HEART that could never be found anywhere else vut here. We are ALL brought here by Zen Masters like MAGNIFICENT NITRO and like SASSY and, of course, like JERRY!

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!
UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!
That's great how they open the package together. And Frankie even stops every now and then to tell you what's in the box.

Woo hoo! What a great surprise!
Otis - 106 pound lab/Dane mix, lost his right front leg to osteosarcoma on Febuary 9, 2016. Four rounds of carboplatin completed in April, 2016. Lung mets August 25, 2016. Said goodbye too soon on September 4, 2016. Lost his adopted sister, Tess, suddenly on October 9, 2016. likely due to hemangiosarcoma.
Wherever they are, they are together.
WOW.... what a beautiful surprise for a beautiful person! This warms my heart and restores a little bit of faith that there are still good people in the universe! Getting pretty close to being that person that only wants to be with her dog (people tend to be sucky) but perhaps I'll extend that the humans in this community too!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
There are such sweet Angels here. Things like this just validate how close we are to each other despite having never met in most cases. You Sally are just the most special person and deserve every good thing that comes your way. This group is the most special, kindest and loving group I've ever been associated with. You are all Angels in people disguise!

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

Sally, you deserve this and so much more! When I made my bids, you were who I had in mind if I won. After all, you've gone through so much rope for me! I love how they shared the loot. I wish it could've been more....

Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"
