Hey guys!

My newly adopted, newly tripawd cat is currently using a great-dane-sized crate as his "safe space". It works wonderfully- room for his lowset litterbox, a carrier to hide in, and bed + food dishes.

There's just one problem: the door is too big and my dog has boundary issues. Any ideas on how to turn the big door into a little door, so I can leave it open and not worry about the dog? Or somewhere I can get a ginormous crate with an itty bitty kitty door?

Thanks!

Great idea! If you're handy with hardware, some deer fencing and zip ties should do the trick. Cut to size and attach a piece to cover the upper part of the open door, allowing you to shut the door for confinement as needed.

Hello and Welcome,

Congrats on newly adopted tripawd kitty.
Admin gave you a fantastic idea😎 I love that idea as it won't be sharp and or permanent! Should be easy to do. Tractor supply or Amazon has deer fencing. Let us know what you do, we would love to see pictures!
